a couple of people around me are flying off. :(

shih ying flew off to las vegas for her casino and hotel management degree yesterday. suanhwee's flying to paris for her fashion design degree and lingzhi's going to hollywood for her degree (internship) in the upcoming months too.
lucky girls!!

junsheng and yongwhee are flying off to suzhou for their 5 months exchange programme with suzhou uni too.

im gonna miss you all. :(

got to meet up with shihying, kexin and mt at HV before shihying flew off.
kexin's forever as animated with her actions! ahaha!
and we discovered that we are really getting old and industrious. =/
nonetheless, i still love them and the once in a blue moon times that the 4 of us get to meet up. (:

i remember yikai had his birthday party at suntec when he turned one.
there were about 10 tables in the function room and the cake that he had was one of the yummiest that i had in my 20 years of life.
and expensive too, you bet.

it's amazing how things have changed within the span of a year.
now, his birthday is celebrated at home with a cake made by my aunt and fancy restaurant dinners are out of the question.

not that it matters to me that all those luxurious cant be sustained with our current financial status.
ive been on my own since mid 2005 and had been in worse situations.
it's just that im amazed/shocked at how much things have changed within the span of a year.
