heartfelt thanks to the supportive colleagues who cheer my day up with care and concern, and the "2 in 10 " sweet customers who brighten up my day. (:
i had this really enjoyable conversation with this old man, touching on topics such as education system, his life, music (he invited to see his band play), etc.
i've also learnt an important lesson in listening and remaining calm in times of chaotic situations, alongside with baisc knowledge on nuts allergy.
then there was this incident were the computers broke down and we were caught off guard.
reminds me of the scene in dark knight where the joker said,
" Nobody panics when things go according to plan. Even if the plan is horrifying. If tomorrow I tell the press that like a gang banger, will get shot, or a truckload of soldiers will be blown up, nobody panics, because it's all, part of the plan. But when I say that one, little old mayor will die, well then everyone loses their minds! "

there's something sadly beautiful about the the song, "fall for you" -the painful longing for a relationship gone off track and the desire to get it right back.

i love the arrangement of the song too; the variation between soft melody of the piano and impactful ones by the band, coupled with the sweet precision of its transitions. (:
teehee. talking about band, i went down to mediacorp with lingzhi and simin to watch superband AND XIAO JING TENG the other day.
