my lovely weekend II.

aye, i think i got fatter. see! my cheeks are meatier!
i guess three days of long john did contribute a little. =x
but i really love the potato chips with cheese! super yums yums!! *drools*

look at the amount of cheese! i ate X3 of that consecutively for three days. :D

and that's not all, i ordered those for dinner too. [ hershey's choco pie!!] (:
in comparison, boyfriend's dinner is only a combo one. =x
let me tell you a secret...

i can out eat him, proven and tested! :p
and i'm gonna throw in another secret.
he's well known for his appetite.
well then again, that's not a secret. =p

and the anderson ice cream that he bought for me when we went shopping at parkway parade. :D
my, that place has changed so much!

oh! i'm planning to set up a blog to sell handmade accessories too.
the necklace that i wore was one of the pieces that i've made. (:
do lend me your support when it's up yea? (:

alright, enough of my digression. all those photos were really meant to say..
i enjoyed the precious time which we got to spend together these few days. (:
happy 13th :D

caught death note & the guardian with my army boy on sunday and tuesday respectively.
i lovelove death note! the plot's simply ingenious & L's really comical! (:
i love the guardian too but it's kinda saddening.. set me thinking too.
frankly speaking, i would fall for such a guy but the same reason which made him fall for him would be the same reason that made me leave him.
i sound contradicting don't i?

in the show (the guardian), the male lead's a tough and dedicated coast guard who is a life saver for those ships/people who are trapped in the big sea.
he's a well-known/respected figure in the field who saved loads of people.

but yet, because of his dedication to saving lives, his own marriage is in jeopardy and he never got around to piecing it. His wife was asking for a divorce as she felt that he was neglecting her.
there was this line (in the movie) which he said to his friend, " you know, i've never had any other woman besides my wife."

the guy was really torn, torn between his job & his wife and her decision hurts him so. but yet, he still chose to remain as a coast guard.
the ending was expected, but yet not of expectation.
or rather, i wanted it to end in another way though i knew that it would turn out that way.

it's a really nice show which touches on limits, choices, determination, truths, heroism etc.
really worth watching.
behind those jokes, scenes and simple words lies a harsh reality.

gosh. it's 2.32am already.
i'm becoming a hardcore owl.
