my weekend has been FABULOUS!
to lyn ng & dawn : sorry girls i was tied up with my staff dinner, i'll contribute more for the later parts of the project i promise!
first up, *drum rolls* dinner at auntie hannah's!
was invited to aunttie hannah's for staff dinner.
turns out that it was actually a get together sessiom + mini celebration for oct babies.
i'm so overwhelmed by their sweet actions that i feel so paiseh.
auntie hannah (lady boos) gave me a ang pow and said, " happy birthday in advace."

she cooked dinner for all of us (around 30++) and bought two ice cream cakes from swensons for the oct babies.
and she gave me a hug before i went home.
the oct babies were made to stand in front of the cake and had birthday songs sang to each individual.
thus, the crowd repeated the happy birthday song and cheers four times.
as i've said, i really felt so overwhelmed and paiseh at the same time. i hardly know some of the people there as they are all from the same church.
(ps: i'm not a christian u see.)
after the cake, yummylicious food ( auntie hannah makes yummy spag!!) and WINE ( uncle paul opened two bottles; one red one white) session, it was the piano/guitar/singing session!!
the thick-skinned alvin, as usual, was entaining us with his extra-ness & bhb-ness.
we laughed, we sang, we watched ppl being sabo-ed to play pianos and guitars, thanks to uncle paul. =p
uncle paul (boss) would look at the person and pull a straight face whenever she/he refuses to go up to the piano and go, " you think tonight dinner free ah?"
damn lol! everyone burst out laughing!
and all those who went up are like grade 8 in piano. =x
rachel's jazz piano was really eye-opening!
we also mingled around during the dinner time and i got to know this girl called may.
she petite, bubbly and really sweet!
it was my FIRST time seeing her and she gave me a cookie for my birthday upon knowing that i was one of the oct babies. really sweet of her. (:
and suprise! like me, she was from pj and dropped out of it to pursue her dream course in another tertiary instituion. (:
all the best, may! (:
really enjoyed myself at auntie hannah's today.
laughters, great company, good music and of cos, wine & dine. :D
and big thanks to jonathan who specially sent us home (clementi, bukit batok, jurong west respectively) when he just lives next door to auntie hannah.
oh! he has a nice voice too. (:
he was sitting beside me when leonard was playing 'when you say nothing at all' by ronan keating. heh.
i'm really glad that i joined pp. the environment & ppl (boss/colleges/chefs) are the nicest that you can get.
thanks for introducing me to pp, elson.

ps: do stay tuned for the upcoming entries on my fab weekend. (:
