Valentine's Day 2010.

andre totally melted my heart this valentine's.
we had a belated celebration due to my grandma's passing,
and spent it in a simple and sweet manner doing our favourite things together.

caught dear john which was a little slow for my liking,
but nonetheless touching on the whole.

the lights were so pretty!
it'd be a crime not to include our pretty and handsome faces with it. :p

the bouquet that melted my heart.
ive never felt so honoured, pampered and loved before.

"oh my god. did you do all these yourself?!"
"yea"
"how did you know how to wrap the bouquet? (even I, as a girl, do not know)"
" i've bought roses for you so many times that i agar agar know how to wrap already"
"AWWWWW"

& you can tell that i look really happy from this photo because you can hardly see my eyes.
(:

traaaaahhh dahhhh!
the making of the bouquet
(pictures stolen from andre's fb)

coloured paper from popular (i think).
he bought the EXACT shade of blue that i love!

rose #n; evidence of not listening in lecture. :p

the very sweet boy did not cease to practise folding the roses
even after i threw tantrums at him.
im so sorry baby.
my bad.

the actual ones, after a few rounds of practices.
i love the blue ones!

more materials for the bouquet; fake leaves, stalks, wrappers and decorations.

#1- rose stalks

#2 bouquet!

#3- wrapped with the perfect combination of my fav shade of blue, red, pink and white!

next up:
pet shop, dog watching.

we both fell in love with this really cute and energetic puppy but didnt manage to snap any pictures cos the guy was watching and the doggie was too bouncy.

they had this see through grooming room where the doggies are treated like kings and queens.
would love to be able to pamper my doggie like this the next time.

& tummy filling @ MODESTO's
thanks to SAF, we used to dine at restaurants once in a while when we were dating.
but with SAF out of the way now, govt no feed him already we hardly dine at restaurants anymore.

made an exception last sat since it was a special occassion & we had the $48 bucks nett set meal which consisted of a starter, 2 mains and a dessert.

andre picked up the tab despite being as poor as me because he knew i was super stressed out from the lack of income.
thank you baby.

bread with olive and some sort of alcohol to get us started for our meal.

the salad looked really good when it was served and tasted equally good.

& the portion's rather huge.
andre cant wait to lay his hands on it already!

WOW big pizza~

carbonara; andre's all time favourite pasta.
but this was only so-so.

the shrimp pizza is one of the best pizza ive had so far.
a welcoming change from the usual hawaiian pizzas that i eat, and also the crust is just right- cripsy and not too thin.

andre loved this too.

the only drawback is that the pizza's a little oily.
but since when yummy food's healthy?!
LOOK AT THE SHRIMPS!
THERE'S ENDLESS OF THEM IN THE PIZZA!

told andre to take this down because it is super rare to be seeing me using fork and knife to eat.
im a disaster at cutting myfood up with untensils.
we had the CENTER seat and when i looked around me, EVERYONE in the restaurant was eatng with their fork and knives so i felt pressurised to be girly too.
i think the cleaner heaved a sigh of relief when i gave up and converted back to my ungirly ways.
because the portions were so generous, we were pretty full by the time dessert came.

jiggly cream pudding with sugar syrup, walnuts, berries and strawberries.
3.5/5.

the pudding tasted good on the first try but tasted bland subsequently, and needed to be consumed together with the sugar syrup.

love's in the air.
love's on the plate.

love is spending time with you.

super yummy pizza, friendly and efficent service.
defintely going back again!
