been going around chinatown with sh and jn and visiting artsy fartsy cafes to feed our souls.
introducing CAUSAL POET @ Chinatown:

had dinner at v8 cafe (bugis) on the same day.
yummylicious cheese wedges which had generous portion of cheese.
p/s: we were too hungry and ate up most of the wedges before we decided to take a photo of what remained.
this baked rice proved to us that looks are decieving.
nat day eve, 8 aug 09.
met up with cat, jn and sh [yh was busy :( ] for our long awaited buffet :D
had the student buffet at the jap restaurant located at cathay basement.
too happy and busy with food that you can hardly see my eyes. ^^
catherine cracked a lame joke about not being able to see me cos the plates will be piled up so high that i'd disappear from her view. -.-"
we were stunned by the sudden onset of her lameness and stared at her for several secs before bursting out into laughter.
& babe, we appreciate your openness with us.
all the best! (:
cat had to leave after the buffet and the 3 of us continued our food journey at ann siang hill.
we stumbled upon this really cool shophouse, where the first level features a cafe and the second level is JJ Lin Junjie's tshirt shop.
hoped over to the fireplace as we were attracted by the live perfomance.
heh. singing will always be our soft spot.
gave my first ever talk to a grp 100+ sec 2 students earlier last last week.
never knew talking to people was this.. challenging.
still working on conquering my stage fright.
so, the very stressed me danced the night away at double O with andre last last sat. :D
the drinks are dirt cheap; a jug of vodka costs $12, while a shot only costs $3. moving to the music + booze (which i surprisingly had very little of) + camwhoring + being in the company of my boy + subway was defintely a good remedy for my blues. (:

i dont deny that im a party animal at heart, though i used to dislike people using that term on me as i felt that it had a negative connotation attached to it.
didnt help when i had the guai guai face and people saw me as that till my party photos were tagged on fb.:P
but i just love letting my body move to the music and being able to soak myself in it, a true blue trait of a Estroverted Sensing Feeling Percieving. \m/
did the MBTI test when i first joined my company and to nobody's surprise, im a ESFP.
"ESFPs are exuberant lovers of life- friendly, outgoing, fun loving and naturally drawn to people. They are good at meeting people and helping them enjoy themselves. They are sympathetic toward people and generous with their time and money".
one thing i love about my current job is that it broadens my horizons, allows me to understand myself, the people around and learn to be more empathatic.
the dancefloor also reminded me of the jj gang; of the times where we used to hang out together, and those random heart to hearts.
getting to know them is defintely one of the happiest things that happened to me and i really miss those times which we had together last year.
brought andre to the fireplace, where we got to chill together on the comfy sofa chair and cushions, played with his newfound baby no.2 aka samsung jet, and soak oursleves in the live music.
kudos to all those who performed, i know how nerve wrecking that can be!

cheneweijie,
pls do not answer your phone in the future when ure on a date/appointment unless your friend tells you that the sky has fallen.
if your friend insists and doesnt get the hint that you'd like to devote your attention to your date, please learn to be firm.
back to camwhoring. (:

really love that place.
it's a pity that it's too small and outta budget for our birthday party. :(
& lao tian ye, pls spare us some sun.
we are in need of a good tan!
it always rains when we FINALLY manage to squeeze precious time out to go tanning.
:(
