$2.20 for a paper cup? wake your idea up.

i went into jurong point's 7-11 with a happy mood and came out pissed.

andre wasnt feeling well and bought lemsip from them.
as he was feeling quite unwell, he took the 7-11's cafe latte paper cup to contain the lemsip powder and mixed it with the hot water that they had there.
i bought hello panda too and was tempted to get those subway cookies which they were selling at 3 for $2.
then the woman told us that she had to charge us for the cup and we were like okay.

but when she said that the PAPER CUP costs $2.20, it is NOT OKAY AT ALL.
i argued with her and said that they never indicated anything about having to pay for the cup and we will not pay $2.20 for the EMPTY paper cup.
it's not like ALL your items have no price tags.
in fact, ALL your items have price tags except for the cups, so how am i supposed to know that you are charging for it?
plus we DID buy products from you.
i tried to bring across those points and she cut me short and said if i wanna complain, i can CALL customer service; not even having the intention to listen to us and put herself in our shoes at all.

for a***'s sake, sign yourselves up for customer service courses if you have no idea what those two words mean.

in the end, we refused to pay and they took back back the cup which andre had drank from for a*** knows what reason.
oh wait. actually you dont need to be a*** to know the reasons cos there's only two things to do with it.

a. pour the lemsip away, wash/no wash and put back with the remaining $2.20 per piece paper cups
b. throw the very precious $2.20 cup away rather than to give it to a customer who needs the cup to contain the flu supplements that he has bought from you to counter his flu

whether it's a or b, shame on your service standards.
bet you never knew that the starbucks crew gives ready smiles, foc water AND the cup to people who are NOT even their customers.
