a 20cents lesson.

before i start on my story, here's a shoutout to WILLY!

HAPPY 21ST my dear! (:

have a blessed year ahead and continue to shine and live life to your fullest!(:

back to my story.
i had an awesome time hanging out with bf and his best friend mok yesterday.

arranged to meet andre at paragon to get my shopping done before heading to cine for our kbox session.
took a loan from the boyfriend who dug into his savings for my clinque superfit foundation in almond.

there you go, 30ml for $50.
and with this, i promise that i am never ever going to spend out of my means again.
even if there is sales.
for you'll soon see how all this adds up.

then andre treated me to soup spoon's mushroom soup/sandwhich/lemon tea meal (as i was starving and broke) and made me a happy girl. :D
he kept insisting that it's the best mushroom soup he ever had while i kept arguing with him that bistro serves comparable mushroom soup too.

met up with mok after our meal and headed to cine for kbox, where my miserable $23 家产 contributed to kbox's revenue.
it's been a longgggggg time since i sang and the 5 hour session was sure good. (:

received a call from lz afterwhich, asking us to supper.
we agreed, only to realise we were constrained by money and time moments later and had to cancel on them.
i guess i made lz rather pissed but the timing just wasnt right.
im sorry.

took the bus back to clementi, where he treated me to dinner as my 家产 was wiped out by kbox already.
had the simple noodles soup and porridge as both of us were unwell.
then we went to ntuc and pooled together ALL WE HAD to get a bottle of orange juice.
even had to chase that 10cents that fell onto the floor.

"sorry sir, this is not enough."
we looked at each other and went "uh oh" in our hearts.
i took out my wallet again and told him, "please tell me we are only short of 20 cents cos that is all i have left".

(xinyi, i believe you can relate to this)

"20cents more miss"
phew.
and we walked off from ntuc with our orange juice and laughing at our miserable situation, while promising to each other that we will not overspend again.

and, i need to start getting down to a full time job.
