bitchness ahead.

top 3 dislikes.

#1 people who push and squeeze into the MRT when others have not alighted.
everytime i face such people, i'll swear silently in my head and purposely push/hit them with my big bag when i alight from the train, topping my grand exit with a "sorry".

#2 big groups who take their own sweet time to walk in one fat line, oblivious to the world who is fuming behind.
for goodness sake, your dad didnt buy that walkway for you to sashay and hold little talks- it's a public place built with taxpayers' money. if you still wanna do your sashaying, go slim down, pull legs longer and be a model.

#3 people whose world revolves around their other half when they are attached.
self explanatory.
& i dare say i'm not included in the above category.

i've always believed that a relationship is not just about spending each and every other moment with your partner- at least not at 19 years old.

at 19, we are still trying to make sense of this world, figuring out where we are headed in the future, and who we really are.
as such, i've always believed that a relationship should allow both parties to have some space to explore the world out there and be able foster an individual's growth.

through interaction with others, we recognise bits and pieces of ourselves and develop values that anchor firmly in our lives.
case in point: yours truly.
before i entered jc, i never believed that i would be able to make it into a sports team.
i never had the confidence and courage to believe in myself.
however, joining sports club in SAJC opened the first door.

i made friends who are passionate about sports and it rubbed off me.
by a twist of fate, i got selected for PJC's hockey team and i fell in love with the sport ever since.
from a secondary school girl who had 18mins+ for 2.4km to a bench warmer in the PJ hockey team and to the captain of SP girl's team, i've learnt that it's all in the mind.

i've also learnt that no paper can justify what these 'out of classroom lessons' does to an individual.
you wont be able to understand the true meaning of sportsmanship by flipping through oxford dictionary or going to dictionary.com; you'd only truely understand it after you've been through it yourself.

at this point, i'd like to take the opportunity to thank this particular guy in my life right now- lim zihao.
thanks for being the understanding boyfriend that you have always been, giving me the space and support that i needed as always.
(:
and also, friends who had been there when i was down and out.
i'm truly grateful.
thank you. <3
