are you battling with yourself?

in many ways, im glad im not xiaxue.
dont get me wrong, i do kinda like her.
i love reading her blog and her bitchy-ness, but blogging as a career/job is soooo taxing and demanding to a IT idiot + active + lazy person like me.

why so?
no makeup = no go out + no photo
for girls who happily slap on gao gao (very thick) makeup to look pretty, do you have any idea what you're really doing to your skin?

if you follow xiaxue's blog, how many blue moons must you count before you are able to see a no make-up photo?
(yea, i know one just appeared recently)
make up gao gao already STILL need to photoshop to look better.

like i say, i suck at IT and i'm definitely not a fan of such big scale hassle.

speaking of xiaxue, i MUST applaud Cannon for their marketing efforts.
precisely because im an IT idiot, specs and all dont make sense to me and i dont bother.
what i need is something that i can see and feel and the photos at xiaxue's blog are frigging SOLID.

the ad that they put up at Shaw's underpass also stole my eyeballs.
the look and feel of it, and the concept of using ordinary consumers like you and i to model for the ad increases the credibility of Cannon.

s90 you're MINE for the next IT fair!

the fear of being rejected, feeling inferior to face the world without the help of your tools which you've grown so dependent on, bla bla bla.........
there are some things only we ladies know.
but ONE MONTH WITHOUT REMOVING MAKE UP COS YOU DIDNT WANT YOUR BOYFRIEND TO SEE HOW YOU LOOKED LIKE BARE FACED?!
i feel really sad and painful for her.

for guys who go, "woah this girl (with make up) very chio!"
this is for you.

i feel bad saying this, but no.5 looks REALLY different. =/

this installment is quite mild actually, cos the girls are not that bad looking by nature.
(ive seen an ep when the difference was even MORE drastic but i couldn't find the clip.)

so ladies! believe in yourself!
if you had to land yourself a guy, land yourself one who loves you bare faced. (:
you cant act nor hide forever.

liberated my skin of chemicals and headed down to town with my not very town-ish attire (tights and hockey jersey), and had quality me-time chilling at mcafe with the heavenly double chocolate frappe, watching bleach, and sweating it out at true yoga yesterday.

piang! this poster is spot on.
ive lost count of how many times i went easy on myself when it comes to exercising.
fitness IS a battle.
Mind over body.

had an awesome bodycombat session.
i love Issey's classes not because of his muscles but because of the way he empowers us with his passion to rope us in on what he believes in and enjoys.

some of our basic moves in bodycombat class.

chen weije hereby declares to commit to battling fitness.
PUNCH! PUNCH! HA!
