another smart and problematic kid added to my portfolio.
nearly got owned by his acting skills.
but i actually do love the challenge of teaching problematic kids.
you have to think 360 and find means and ways to make learning fun for them, learn to control your temper, and use the right tone and words to get the things that you want done.
the reward and punishment/ damage and repair tactic is a "never fail" tactic to manage kids.
i sometimes find myself shopping for presents for my tuition kids as opposed to shopping for presents for andre, and i forsee myself buying a lot cutesy stuffs or my 8 tuitees when i go taiwan.
im exceptionally touched when i meet parents who are not grade conscious; all they ever want from their kid is for them to experience the joy of learning.
i want to be such a teacher and mother too. (:
ive been thinking a lot these days, struggling with the money vs interest decision.
money is not everything, but i really need to get away from all these unnecessary unhappiness inflicted by my mom.
gonna be a full fledged financial planner in may/june, and i hope that it is the answer to my much needed freedom.
honestly nervous about how it's gonna work out but i'm gonna throw all those worries at the back of my head and enjoy april first. :D
