zoukout 09.

12 dec did not turn out the way i thought it would be.

firstly, too many girls turned up for the SIA interview and we were asked to leave our forms behind and so that they can call us back to arrange for a interview with us again.
still, thanks for all the texts and encouragements people (:

secondly, as you can tell from our sad frowning faces, zoukout 09 was disappointing.
thank god for jeremy and xinyi, if not i would have threw my ticket off and went home.

huge thanks to jeremy who made his way down at the last minute (=$68 ticket), and looked after us with real care under andre's unstructions. :P

back to ZO.
the music was bad.
the whole area was divided into 4 sections- A, B, C, D.

C was so pathetically small that you might just walk past without knowing it.
trance , house and techo was going on forever while R & B only came in at 4 am.
what about people who only do R & B?
& even when R& B was on, it was not fantastic either.

the drinks were, AS USUAL, so diluted that redbull vodka tastes exactly the same as redbull itself.
not to mention that the tics are MORE EXPENSIVE this year.
well done, zouk (or whoever organized this).

or maybe to be fair the toilets were better, there ARE more things to see but ultimately this is a DANCE PARTY. there's no point in everything else if your core product aint good.

because xinyi and me are such busy people ( i plucked out my fake lashies and slept with my make up that i had on for my SIA interview and headed out for zoukout again after i woke up), we didnt get to fill our tummies much and jeremy got us fish burger and fries before we went in.

& it tastes surprisingly good. :D
