stay home sunday.

it's no secret that i'm a fan of xiao jing teng, a CRAZY fan of his in fact. :p
he is so damn zai that if he hadn't forgotten the lyrics, i would have thought that he is lip-syncing.
psstt check out his funny opening pose!

despite my terrible monday blues, the week turned out really well. (:

met up with the lame king cheng and lame queen queen xinyi for kbox on tue and owned them with my lame-ness. ^^
as usual, we k till we dropped and went mac for ice cream.

i didn't want to eat anything actually, but i got influenced by xinyi.
can you see how sinful is it girl?!!?! :(

with everyone starting school and my both legs stepped into the working world, such moments are hard to come by.
haven't seen some of them since the taiwan trip, i miss those 2008 merry making days.
looking forward to kent's party on friday. (;
& happy 21st jiesheng! (:

went down to BAS to root for andre's match after work on wed.
the boys won the game :D

when i first started going down to support him for his matches, andre used to be afraid that i would be bored.
sometimes i see other bored girlfriends sitting in to root for their boyfriends and i pity them.
but for me, i LOVE doing and watching sports, live.
& i cheer all over the place- for my boyfriend, for his team and for his teammates.

being on the side lines has also allowed me to appreciate and marvel at the beauty of teamwork; of how it taps on the strength of each individual to make to achieve a common goal.
for example: you can be an ordinary, over-sized guy whom people don't even take a second look at when walking on the streets.
but if you believe that you are born into this world with a purpose, embrace yourself for who you are and work hard at what you're good at, ( i.e. using your big frame to your advantage and
getting the rebounds for your team) then instead of an ordinary guy, you ARE the one who shines in the crowd.

this was what that triggered my love for basketball btw. (:
i was reading/watching this even before i met andre.
together with one piece, slam dunk is the only other comic that i read and i bought the whole set of it when i was in Shanghai and lugged it all the way back to Singapore, which turned out to be one of our all time favourite topics when we were dating. :P

had our favourite king of fruits, the red king prawn version @ $10 per box and it was YUMMYLICIOUSLY-LOVELY! :D
indeed, price = quality.

friday was the day where bestie and i continued our childhood tradition of mooncake and candles.
been catching up with her these days and im glad.
dont wanna her to go through all these alone.
(:

sat was "satisfying heels craving day" + st james day.
had this sudden urge to get a pair of new heels for work since 2 out of 3 pairs of my working heels are chui already.
swung by anchorpoint, got a pair of pretty golden sandals which im keeping my fingers crossed to pass off as working shoes.

after the mini shopping spree, went to the track for a 3 round jog instead of a 5 round jog as it was drizzling.
reminds me of those times where we would run together as a team even if it was drizzling.

peiwen, xinyi, gina and me had our very own ladies night and music at st james was good.
in fact, one of the better ones so far till it started playing trance around 3am.
WHY?!?!

had 3 jugs, a apple shooter and no more no more no more cos we are poor girls.
a random guy tried to invite me and the girls over to their table and i turned it down.
even when i'm a poor girl, i will only let my pocket/ my boyfriend's/ my friend's pocket pay for my drinks.
