#1 when actions speak louder than words
"hey. have you ended work? i happen to be in town. meet you at the front entrance in 5 mins?"

the really sweet boyfriend came to pick me up from work and got me dinner from macs as my very cost concious company which sells FOOD AND BOOKS AT WHEELOCK doesnt provide food and as a result, im always hungry or having gastric pains after work.

and he proceeded to earn himself more brownie points by sending me home afterwhich. :D


#2 opening of a door
im feeling over the moon for my dearest boy right now cos he just received notification from NUS that he's gonna be shortlisted for an interview. :D

#3 a timely helping hand
it was full house @ pp today and lunch shift sucked the energy outta me.
well, it's actually the everyday 1045am-11pm shifts at pp and borders + travelling that it is taking its toll on me.
took a once in a blue moon afternoon nap to recharge for dinner shift and awoke to good news from SP.
my moe bursary is ready for collection! :D

#6 exercising discipline
i turned down a clubbing invitation with my favourite gang of people today cos i decided that i needed to prioritise my health and work over personal fun.

for this, i shall reach over my shoulder and give myself a deserving pat. (:
