F & B

before i embark on this entry, here's a happy belated birthday shout out to :

well, back to topic- F & B.
i've been waitressing for the past 2 years.
i've been with sakae sushi, penang place, fosters, and recently, borders bistro.
all these places taught me various things and possess their own unique cultures, systems and rules.
but no matter where you go, there's always one thing in common- customers that put a smile to your face ( sometimes even warmth to your heart) or customers who make you roll your eyes.


there's too many things to be said, and im way too tired for all those after my 10 hour crazy shift.
but all i wanna say is, the next time before you think money is everything, remember the people in the service industry are human too.
sometimes we may be munching some food ( hello! 10 hour shift of non stop walking etc is very energy consuming ok!), or sometimes we may forget some things( cos groups of 10s keep coming in etc), please understand and gentley remind us.


i dont know why im whining so much here, cos nothing really bad happened today.
in fact, i got tipped thrice and was complimented for my good service. :D
& there was this cute old couple who came back twice ( tipped ME twice), once for lunch and the other for dinner and i served them both times!
it's really nice to have such customers around. (:


all in all, no matter how tough it is to work in the F & B industry, im proud to say i enjoy every single moment of it. (:
to know that you were able to put a smile on someone else's face is certainly a heartwarming achievement.


moving on to something random,
im becoming more and more domesticated nowadays! ( sounds like a piece of excellent news for my future husband)
i went out with lingzhi the other day and instead of looking at clothes like i usually do, i headed for the ktichen ware section and bought a 12cm frying pan that is perfect for frying eggs. :D
im planning to shop at courts and ikea during one of my free days for a blender and some wine glasses respectively. :D
oh! i made fish fillet with noodles, vege and crabmeat for my dinner the other day.
yummy! :D
gonna try my hands on something new soon. :D
shall post the photos up IF they turn out successful. :D


urghhh.
i want durians!
i need a good massage! ( not with the durians in case it sounds like it's linked)
i want milo!
i want chocolate milkshake!
i want to drink red wineeeeee!
i want to watch wanted, 10 promises to my dog and hellboy II !
i want tcc's portobello sandwich!
i want to go keppel bay again!
i want to get rid of my tummy ( yes, i HAVE a tummy) !
i want to go suntanning!
& i love hitting hockey balls! :D



11am-9pm shift tomorrow.
i better hit the bed soon after im done with my project.
and i realised im getting more and more random with my entry!
hahahaha.
i guess when im tired, im uber random. :X
