it's only when the day sets in, then the realisation of having to leave behind so many things which im familiar with and dearly miss that i realise how deep i feel for this sunny island.
people around me kept asking me, " arent you afraid of taking the plane alone?"
i always look at them and say no, with that voice at the back of my head which sings, "what's there to be afraid of?"

but now i know.
when you walk around in the holding area not knowing where to go nor what to do while you waiting for the plane,
it feels really lonely.
