work was good today, had praises from customers for our efficency and good food though i made a couple of mistakes. :x
spilled some sauce on the chair while collecting the plates and the customer nearly sat back on it.
luckily for me, he didnt take it to heart.

i had a group of really nice senior citizens who'd joke with me and invite me to eat too. lol.
was kept busy collecting plates, clearing tables, making coffee, ordering drinks and char kuay tiao etc till lunch time.

man, i miss pp.
and shups, mag, majeee, alvin etc as well.
had to cab down to work today cos i made the choice to pig in bed.
dear called to wake me up but i refused to.
too tired from yesterday's 'impromptu adventure' which burned a pretty deep hole in my pocket.

with econs over and done with, we went out to party!
went kbox with jane, lyn lee, dawn and gj but the session turned out to be rather bad as the room was too cold and the rest were either too cold or stoney/tired to k.
so i practically zi high, mike hogged and zhao xia cos i gei kiang sing when i had not recovered from my cough and funny throat.
felt like i was throwing money. :(

coincidentally,simin and her friends were only two rooms away from where i was and we only found out when i bumped into our mutual friend, xinyi.
was so happy to see her! :D:D:D
so i joined her and her friend (kent) and xinyi's friends (peiwen) after my session ended and continued to high with them. :D
and coincidentally, peiwen knows me and i sorta know peiwen too! cos we're both pionners. :D
and i sorta know kent too cos simin has been telling me about her class alot. :D
hahaha. small world. :D

went to cafe cartel for dinner and two more of simin's friends (willy and cheng wai) joined us.
and coincidentally again, willy knows me cos he claims to have seen me in SAJC before back in first three months but i didnt know of him till my darling started telling me about her class.
HEH, what did i say? SMALL WORLD right?

and so, i made four new friends, outta which two already knew of me. :D



went over to boat quay to chill afer a full-till-cannot-move dinner.
ordered a bottle of chiva and some mixers and we started chatting, singing and playing chai quan.
oh! we also kam bei-ed to good A levels results and poly results before drinking. :D

being with them really makes me miss my sajc days; days where people are so open about making friends and where i could just unleash the social butterfly in me and make merry together.
it feels so comfortable and good.
i wonder where & when can i find that feeling back.

i remember mr lee giving us a psychological test to do during sem one and i turned out to be a rather fun-loving person.
it's true, i'm a party animal.
if mom wasnt so strict on me, i would have probably (indecently) partied my life away.








sometimes i wonder if it's me that's causing this drift. but it takes two hands to clap isnt it? but then again, why is it that things can turn out so differently between us and them?
