am freaking pissed.

bought this brown bag for 5 bucks at raffles city.
it was an indian tent stall.
then i went off to toilet and tired it on in front of the mirror.
then catherine realised that there was certain faults with the bag.
the straw was coming off for certain parts.
so i went back to the stall hoping to change a new one.
and had a heated conversation with the both of them,
mainly with the indian woman.

me: excuse me, can i change for another bag cos it's spoilt here
[ shows the faulty area ]

owner : no, [ points to paper stuck there ] we stated that no goods are exchangable.
furthermore, u bought it and took it away, i dunno what u did to it.

me: [ starting to boil ]
but i was here for LESS THAN FIVE mins ago!

owner : no, we stated that goods cant be changed [ reaches for another brown bag ]
see, this one also has fault. we gave u time to choose, after that is
ur own prob. no changing.

me: [ sees another woman choosing bags ]
*raises voice and STARES* SO ARE U TRYING TO SAY THAT U ARE SELLING FAULTY
BAGS?
[ woman choosing bag in the bg raises head and stops ]

owner : [ gets real angry ] reapeats line " we gave u time to choose/ no changing"

me: [ STARES ] THANK YOU.


and i really wanted to tell her sth else.
thank you.
i will see how good ur business will get by the word of the mouth.
but i didnt.
figured that it's no use plus i've achieved what i wanted.
which is to make a scene and scare/ warn other consumers.
a few were choosing bags at that time and u bet they heard my conversation with the owner.
i noe it's just five bucks.
but i stil paid for it.
i AM still a consumer.
if that's the way u treat ur customers/ do business.
i really wonder how long can hold,
even if ur goods are cheap.

well.
it's a valuable lesson learnt.
goods must be checked properly before purchased.
esp those that are CHEAP.

`i may be blur BUT i'm certainly not someone to be messed with.

woke up early in the morning to surprise jn.
who noes she had to work!
so we had to go down to raffles city and hide behind this shoe shop to spring the surprise attack.
WHO NOES cat brought jn IN our direction and i nearly jumped out of my skin.
ran to the other side of the shop and hid there.
sadly, the candles melted =(
so by the time jn came there was none for her to blow :(

oh btw,
the CUSTOMER SERVICE at polar cakes, raffles branch, is real good :)
the ppl are real friendly.
we lingered arnd for a while and yh and sh left.
i followed jn and cat to orchard.
we did some shopping, eating and took neoprints. :D
it's been a LONG time since we took neoprints tog.
and they were nice :D
saw this white wallet and am still contemplating =p
and i liked this white tote bag too :D
42 bucks though :(
